Dear Linda and Neal, Both your Mum and Dad remain in memories of my childhood on Radford Street in Hamilton. They were each kind and generous people who served their country in times of war, and to whom families like mine owe enormous gratitude.
I remember going into the store on King St. to buy candy, and say 'hi' to your Mom while waiting at the bus stop. I can still picture her walking to the West Hamilton bus on her way to work -- no-one had two cars in those days.
Your Mom lived a long, long life, and brought up children who wanted to improve the world. What a life well-lived.
May her memory be a blessing.
