Obituary of Mary Eadie
Peacefully on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at Listowel Memorial Hospital, Mary Eadie of Wingham passed away at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late John “Mac” Eadie who predeceased her in 2004. Devoted mom of Philip & Heather Eadie, David & Janice Eadie, Chris & Amy Eadie and Michelle & Dan Elphick. Loving grandma of Jill & Steve Todd, Jodie Eadie, Kelsie & Dustin Langer, Preston Eadie, Kara & Matt Smith, Austin Eadie, Amber Eadie, Travis Becker, Melissa & Jake Davidson and Emily Elphick & Brett Parsons. Cherished great-grandma of Owen Langer, Blaine Todd, Eden Smith, Kensley and Oaklyn Davidson and Berkley and Ryann Parsons. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruth & Jim Jackson, Helen & Ken Grant, Pat & Bob Sass, Eleanor Hotchkiss, Neil & Margaret Eadie, Charles Eadie, Marjorie & Brian Deyell and Marian Eadie.
Predeceased by her parents George & Margaret Hotchkiss, great-grandson Shane Todd, brothers Jack Hotchkiss and Bill Hotchkiss (Dolly), brother-in-law Don Eadie and sister-in-law Rhoda Eadie and nephew John Deyell.
A casual visitation will be held at the Belmore Community Centre on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wingham on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery and reception will follow at the Belmore Community Centre.
