Obituary of Eleanor Ward

At New Horizons Tower, Toronto on Friday, March 27th, 2020, Eleanor Ward formerly of Wingham passed away at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late James Ward who predeceased her on January 26, 1978. Dear mother of Ian (Nicky) and Beth (Jesse) both of Toronto. Beloved grandmother of Aiden, Annie, Abigail, Meredith and Madison. Remembered by many relatives and her community of friends in Wingham and around the world whom she loved with an open heart and generous spirit. Predeceased by her parents Lavenia & Wilfrid Beaton, infant son Jamie and sister Evelyn. 

A memorial service for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, September 26^th, 2020 at the Wingham Riverside Park (by the Libro Pavilion/Boat Launch, behind the Beer Store off Josephine St.) at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Larry Skinner officiating. Due to provincial restrictions on outdoor services, those wishing to attend must RSVP via our website or by calling the funeral home, 519-357-1170.
