Uncle Elgin was a very special person in our lives,even though we did not get to see him very often. He always had an entertaining story to tell or a wry comment to make on everyday events. He has been a wonderful role model to us all. To my cousins, Robert and Graeme, and Graeme's family, our thoughts will be with you as you farewell Uncle Elgin even though we cannot be there in person, Anne, Lesley and Colleen .

Elgin was a special man...so gentle and caring. He was definitely a bright spot in my day when I visited him. His love for me as a person was so evident and isn't that what we all crave? He felt like a grandpa to me. He will be missed! Rest in peace Elgin.
