Obituary of Janie P. Hastings

At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, May 30, 2018,  Janie Hastings of Wingham,  age 86 years.

The former Janie McInnes loving wife of the late Orvil Hastings who predeceased her on May 16,1984. Remembering Janie is her loving family, Jim and Lori Hastings of Langley, BC. and Ruth and Brian Latour of Wingham. Grandmother of Michelle & Lorne Smith, Dwayne & Michelle Evans, Krystine and Liana Hastings and Robert and Rachel Latour. Also survived by great-grandchildren Nathan and Andrew Smith, and Eric and Aubrey Evans. Predeceased by her parents James and Jean (Caution) McInnes, her loving daughter Bev Evans (Feb. 27, 2004), her sister Ann Stanley (2003) Great-granddaughters Kaitlyn and Sydney, and by special brother and sister-in-law Ross and Marion Hastings.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the McBurney Funeral Home chapel on Monday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Kathy Underwood officiating. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.
