Obituary of John Maronets

John Maronets of Wingham, and formerly of London, passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Monday, March 12th, 2018, at the age of 88.

Loving husband of the late Del Maronets (nee Sydorko), who predeceased him in 1991.

Cherished father of Ken Maronets (Yvonne) of Belgrave and father-in-law of Cheryl Maronets of London.

Special Papa to Jeffrey Maronets (Sarah), Shawn Maronets (Marnie), Michelle Dore (Ashton) and Andrew Maronets. Great-grandpa of Adelynn Maronets.

Predeceased by his parents William and Stephanie Maronets and his son Rob Maronets (2012).

John was a dedicated employee of CFPL Television for nearly 40 years prior to his retirement in 1992. In his younger years he travelled extensively throughout Canada with his young family and in his later years enjoyed spending time with the family at the cottage in the Haliburton Highlands.

There will be a private family gathering with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in London.
