Obituary of George Wallace Anson

At Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, October 23, 2017, George Wallace Anson of  Wingham, age 72 years. Cherished husband of Donelda Jean (Brindley) Anson of fifty years. Loving father of Cathy & Bruce Nowry of Elmwood, Carolyn & Denny O'Neil of R.R.#1, Wingham, Chris & Krista of Lynden, Carl & Ang of St.Thomas, Leigh & Laura of Lucknow, Kevin & Jenn of Listowel. Dear grandfather of Nicole & Andrew, Brad, Nathan & Ang, Natasha, Ethan & Jess, Evan, Kiyia, Kassandra & James, Cody, Angelina, Xanthony, Katie, Kourtney, Melanie, Kieran, Jayden, Riley, Leigh Jr., Nicholas, Anna, Chase and Parker.  Great-grandfather of Brittany, Jaden, Damien, Ainslie, Ivan and Rico. George will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Rose, Sharon, Marjorie, Sheila, Linda, several nieces and nephews and by Donelda's family. Predeceased by his parents Edward & Myrtle, brother Ed, sister Delite, nephew Jeff and brothers-in-law Norman, Arnold and Stan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180, Wingham on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
