To Mildred’s loved ones
I wanted to send my sincere condolences on the passing of Mildred. Mildred was the first cousin of my mothers (Eileen Parker). She was a joy to know, we loved her sense of humour. She was such a knowledgeable lady. Amanda, she spoke often of you and of what a help you were to her. God bless you!
I am in Brazil right now but have had the info passed on to me here or I would have been at the funeral service. Sincerely Bev and Eileen

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mildred. I worked with Mildred at Wingham & District Hospital. Mildred was a kind and caring nurse. I have a lot of good memories of working with Mildred on First Floor.

I will miss this little lady! She was a special lady. We had many laughs together and always knew my mind would be challenged when we were together!

We are very sad to hear of Mildred's passing. She was a wonderful person who was always near and dear to my family's thoughts. The thing we will miss most about Mildred will be her stories. Her ability to observe life, evaluate it and then relate this information to other people was amazing. We had great visits with her over the years. She will be missed. Heartfelt condolences from Eldon McClenaghan and Harriet Van Bavel.

Mildred was a special friend. She worked for Dr.Corrin Sr.and gave my husband Ron his needles when he was a baby. She worked with his uncle in the Goderich Hospital.Every year she would call my 3 children Xmas eve and pretend she was Mrs. Claus. The kids always received a bag of oranges from Mildred. When we visited her we always enjoyed her homemade muffins baked in the old cookstove. The last time we dropped in she was craving pizza so we ordered some and she loved it,that was a nice change she said.I worked for years with Mildred at the Wingham Hospital. She will never be forgotten.

I worked at Gilbert Hall on nights for almost 2yrs and I grew very fond of Mildred. She always called me Debbie dog because I love my dogs. I would sit with her for hrs we even watched the Stanley cup finals even though she couldn't see the tv but I had to turn it on so we could just spend that extra time time together. I will miss her her dearly she was like my grandmother. I became very close to her. I'm so sorry for your loss and I will never forget her. She was one of a kind that will always have a special place in my heart
