Dear Bonnie: I was unfortunately not able to attend Jack's funeral as we just returned from vacation a couple of days ago but know that our heartfelt thoughts are there with you and your family during this very sad time. Jack put forward a brave battle but this disease shows no mercy. At a time like this it is difficult to know what to say other than our deepest sympathy is extended to you Bonnie, the girls and your family. Pat, Linda, Betty & Don, our thoughts are with you. June 2nd, 2017. Dear Bonnie, My heartfelt thoughts are with you, today. In remembrance of Jack: I will always remember my Cousin Jack's friendly, handsome smile and his gentleman manner. Distance and time does not alter fond memories. Many years ago, a dear friend shared a heartwarming poem which gave me peace. I hope it will also give you and the family some comfort, as well. His Journey's Just Begun Don't think of Jack as gone away His journey's just begun. Life holds so many facets, This earth is only one. Just think of Jack as resting from the sorrows and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort Where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing That we could know today, How nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of Jack as living in the hearts of those he touched, For nothing loved is ever lost and Jack was loved so much. To all the family of Jack I wish to give my sincere condolences I had the pleasure of meeting jack a year and a half ago at morning coffee at the riverview restaurant . Being new in town and a part time resident he made me feel very welcome which I will never forget! Unfortunately I am not in town today but back east at our other home in Newcastle but my prayers are with Jack and everyone celebrating his life today.
