Obituary of Kees de Vries

At Seaforth Manor Nursing Home, on Thursday, November 19, 2015, Kees de Vries of Wingham age 79 years. Beloved husband of the former Jane de Boer. Dear father of Irene and Dave ten Pas of Molesworth and Ken and Shelly de Vries of Wingham. Loving grandfather of Jaimee, Jessica, Jodie, Leann and Kaitlyn ten Pas, and Darcy and DeVeena de Vries. Great-grandfather of Tucker. Brother of Klaas and Teresa and Sandy and Lois of Listowel and Randy of London. Predeceased by his parents Jacobus and Reina (Ennema) de Vries. Kees retired on December 31st, 2009 from the Wingham Area Fire Department as a District Captain after 44 years of service. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Lucknow Christian Reformed Church on Monday at 1:00 pm. Pastor Kenneth de Boer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
