Obituary of Doris Walden

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, December 23, 2016, Mrs. Doris Walden of Wingham, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill Walden who predeceased her in 1994. Cherished mother of Pam and Gary Carter of London and Faye and Bob Remington of Wingham. Dear grandmother of Kevin Ste.Marie & Wendy, Shelley Haines & Luke, Sheri Horton, Jeff & Sherri Walden, Karyn Bennett, Lori Griffith & Ray, Jen & Jeremy Johnston, Mike Remington and Aimee, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister-in-law Rita MacDonald. Predeceased by her daughters Phyllis Walden and Marilyn Bradley, son Ron Walden, daughter-in-law Linda Walden and her brothers and sisters. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House, London or the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Interment will take place in Ripley Cemetery in the spring. ©
