Obituary of Douglas Foxton

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, June 26, 2005, Mr. Douglas Foxton of Wingham, age 65 years. Beloved husband of the former Betty Danhousen. Dear father of Debbie Bisch of Hamilton and Paul and Brenda Foxton of Clandeboye. Loving grandfather of Arthur and Chelsie Bisch and Miles Foxton. Brother of Diane Cameron and Connie Hickey both of Wingham, Jo-Ann Rintoul of Kitchener, Bruce Foxton and Bob Foxton of Wingham and Bud Foxton of Huntsville. Son-in-law of Violet Danhousen of Southampton. Predeceased by brothers Ronald, Ted and Kenneth and by grandchildren Amanda Marie Foxton and twins Micheal Paul and Katlyn Elizabeth Foxton. Doug was a former member of Wingham Police Services retiring with the rank of Sergeant in 1994 after thirty years of service. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Wayne B. Beamer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
