Obituary of Leon Uriha Russell

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Monday, September 11, 2006, Mr. Leon Russell of R.R # 7 Lucknow, formerly of Wingham age 67 years. Beloved husband of Cathy Wickhorst. Dear father of Larry and Rhonda Russell of Fergus, Earl Russell and his friend Deb of Collingwood, Roger and Tammy Russell of Kenilworth, Tammy and Dave Harnell of Drayton and Mark and Trisha Wickhorst of Stratford. Lovingly remembered by twelve grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Mary Elizabeth (Beth) and Hugh Elder of Ayton and Ann and Walter Thompkins of Bath. Predeceased by his parents James and Olive (Marlatt) Russell, brothers Bill, Howard, Glenn and sister Lelia Mae in infancy. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Thursday. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
