Obituary of Lott Duffy

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, May 07, 2006, Mrs. Ruth Lott Duffy of Wingham, age 94 years. The former Ruth Wendorf beloved wife of the late Carl Lott. Dear mother of Bud and Rhonda Lott of Nanoose Bay, British Columbia and Bruce and Shirley Lott of Bracebridge. Special friend of John Melton of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Jason and Seona, Peter, Colin and Melissa, Kevin Lott and Diane Lott. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Cecil and Verdon Wendorf, sister Cindy Henderson and daughter-in-law Jean Lott. Ruth owned and operated Ruth's Beauty Salon in Wingham from 1950-1976. She was very active in both lawn and alley bowling, winning many trophies. Her home was always open for visits from her many friends and relatives. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
