Obituary of John Wright

At his residence, on Sunday, March 08, 2015, Mr. Jack Wright of R.R. # 3, Listowel, formerly of Howick Township age 74 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (Merkley) Wright. Cherished father of Valerie and Bill Bushell of R.R. # 1, Listowel, Lea Anne and David Voisin of R.R. # 1, Formosa and Nancy and Jeff Ludington of R.R. # 4 Brussels. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Adam Bushell (Jess), Allie and Matt Gabel, Tyson, Kelsey Voisin (Scott) and Jackie Ludington, and great-granddaughter Billie Gabel. Also survived by his mother-in-law Marjorie Harkness of Wingham. Brother of Graham and Janice Wright of R.R. #1, Cifford, Winona Thompson of R.R. #5, Wingham, Sandra and Greg Buchanan of Wingham, June and John Paynter of Kitchener, Jannette McClean and Wayne Douglas of Wingham and Rod and Susan Wright of R.R. #1, Clifford. Brother-in-law of Jennice Davidson of Wingham. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Laurine (Dahms) Wright and by his father-in-law George Merkley. Private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
