Obituary of Lev Dean Balser

At London Health Sciences Centre, on Thursday, June 01, 2006, Mr. Lev Balser of Teeswater, age 82 years. Beloved husband of the former Liz (Myers) Kernaghan. Dear father of Dean Balser and Margaret Richards of Toronto, David Balser and Brenda Dahlie of Vancouver, British Columbia, Anne and Ed Wheatley of London, Don and Barb Kernaghan of Wiarton, Debbie and Ivan Metcalfe of R.R. # 1, Wingham, Linda Easton of Port Stanley and Judy Reynier of Vancouver. Brother of Allen Balser of Elmira and Marie and Rowland Cook of Moncton, New Brunswick. Lovingly remembered by thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elias and Almeda (Taylor) Balser and by his brother Bliss Balser. Lev was a veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at Wingham United Church on Sunday at 3:00 pm. Reverend Wayne B. Beamer officiating. Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. Memorial donations to Wingham United Church Stained Glass Project would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
