Obituary of Nicholena Aitken

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, April 06, 2006, Mrs. Nick Aitken of Wingham, age 90 years. The former Nick Thompson. Beloved wife of the late William Aitken (1993). Dear mother of Fran and Ron Johnson of Toronto, Bob and Carol Ann Aitken of Cannington, Lynda MacDonald of Pefferlaw and Andy and Pat Aitken of Toronto. Loving grand mother of five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Ned and Doris Thompson of Mitchell. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Elizabeth (Coey) Thompson, seven brothers and two sisters. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Blyth Union Cemetery, Blyth, Ontario. Memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
