At Wingham & District Hospital, on Friday, May 04, 2007, Mr. John van Diepen of Wingham, age 48 years. Beloved husband of the former Susan Weppler. Loving father of Patricia Wall and Rachael van Diepen of Vanastra. Dear son of Theodore and Catharina van Diepen of Goderich (Kingsbridge). Son-in-law of Isabel Weppler of Desboro. Brother of Arie and Kay van Diepen and Joanne and George Goodman of Seaforth, Lia and Ron Berry of London, Cathy and Jeff Thomson of Auburn, Tom van Diepen of London and Peter and Tracy van Diepen of Goderich. Brother-in-law of Margaret and Wayne McConnell of Tara, Marvin and Sherry-Lyn Weppler of Desboro and Mark and Jessie Weppler of Owen Sound. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 10:00 am. Father John Johnson officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Parish Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:45 pm.
