Obituary of Wilson James Thornton

At Seaforth Community Hospital, on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, Mr. Wilson Thornton of R.R. # 1, Bluevale, age 92 years. Beloved husband of the former Dorothy Golley. Dear Father of Julie and John Madill of Scarborough, Jill and Peter Carpenter of Toronto, Jeff and Betty Thornton of Windsor and Cindy and Ray Nicholson of Elmira. Loving grandfather of Nicholas Carpenter, James and Angela Thornton, Nathan and Carrie Thornton and their son Joshua James Thornton and Victoria and Alexandra Nicholson. Predeceased by his parents George and Mary (Peacock) Thornton and five sisters. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Huron Perth Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
