Obituary of Elmer Keith Sleightholm

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Monday, September 17, 2007, Mr. Elmer Sleightholm of Wingham, age 84 years. Beloved husband of the former Margaret Bolton. Loving father of Elgin and Lindsay of St.Thomas, David and Eileen of Goderich, Lloyd and Beverly of Brantford, Phyllis and Dalton Noels of R.R. # 1, Crediton and Janet and Bill Burnel of Fenelon Falls. Also missed by twelve grandchildren and six great-grandsons. Survived by brother Allisson Sleightholm of Trowbridge. Predeceased by parents Frank and Edith (Milne) Sleightholm and by brothers Gordon and Nelson Sleightholm and by his great-granddaughter Emily. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins and Reverend John Neilson officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Chalmers Presbyterian Church or Wingham and District Hospital Cancer Care would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
