Obituary of Harold George Shaw

A WWII Veteran at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham Ontario on Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Born May 22, 1916 in Windsor, Ontario, Mr. Harold George Shaw aged 90 years. Beloved husband for 62 years of Iris (Fitzgerald) Shaw of Turnberry Estates. Dear father of David and Betty Shaw of Wingham. Grandfather of Peter and Janice Shaw, Andrew Shaw and Tiffany Shaw all of Wingham. Loving great-grandfather of Breelle and Carson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dr. G. E. Shaw and Ida (Smith) Shaw and his step-mother Auntie Mary. Also by his brothers Orlo and Ethel Shaw and Stanley and Ethel Shaw. Harold was an employee of De Laval Company Ltd., for 35 years. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Wayne B. Beamer officiating. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
