Obituary of Edith Louise Schmidt

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Tuesday, August 07, 2007, Mrs. Edith Schmidt of Wingham, formerly of Palmerston age 72 years. The former Edith Pennington wife of the late Harold Schmidt. Loving mother of Janice Schmidt of Wingham and Stan and Debbie Schmidt of Palmerston. Dear grandmother of Jeremy Price, Josh Schmidt, Lisa, Carla and Jeremy Swan. Also survived by her brothers Everett and Kathleen Pennington of Teeswater and Ray and Donna Pennington of Walkerton and by her sisters-in-law Betty Pennington of Culross Township and Almeda Pennington of R.R. # 2, Mildmay. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Vera (Strong) Pennington, her sister Irene Hayden and her brothers George and Roy Pennington. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham Pentecostal Church on Saturday at 11:00 am. Reverend Timothy Bjorkman officiating. Interment in Clifford Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Wingham Pentecostal Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
