At Huronlea on Monday, September 07, 2015, Mrs. Mary Townsend of Listowel, formerly of Wroxeter age 85 years. The former Mary Porter, beloved wife of Lloyd Townsend of Listowel. Dear mother of Brenda and Ross Werth of Wingham, Debbie and Kim Cowan of Kitchener and Kevin and Margaret Townsend of Belleville. Loving grandmother of Shannon & Scott Gillespie, Kara & Jaz Gill, Joshua & Heather Cowan, Jordan Cowan & Claire Robinson, and Emily and Connor Townsend. Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Kamden and Parker Gillespie, Addelyn and Lainey Gill, and Macey, Oliver, and Hayden Cowan. Sister of Jack and Bernice Porter of Lucan and sister-in-law of Verna Porter of London. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Jean (Stewart) Porter and her brother Donald Porter. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, from 6:00-8:00 pm, and on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery, Howick Township.
