Obituary of Agnes Yuill McBurney

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, December 16, 2007, Mrs. Agnes McBurney of Braemar, Wingham, formerly of East Wawanosh Township age 96 years. The former Agnes Robertson beloved wife of the late Gordon McBurney who predeceased her in 1998. Dear mother of Hugh McBurney and Gloria Stradecki of Goderich and Ronald and Jean Anne McBurney of East Wawanosh Township. Loving grandmother of David and Lawanda McBurney and their son Damian, Michael and Sherry McBurney and their daughter Ella, Steven and Jo-Anne McBurney, Dannielle Stradecki and Delee and Ron Mahoney. Also survived by her sister-in-law Jean Roberston of Wingham. Predeceased by her parents Adam and Ann (King) Robertson, her sisters Janet (Dawson) Craig in 1978, Mary (William) Peacock in 2006 and her brother Alex Robertson in 2001. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Pastor Elly Dow officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Knox United Church, Belgrave, General Fund or The Residents Council at Braemar Nursing Home.
