Obituary of Ruth Evelyn Johnston

At Braemar Retirement Centre, on Saturday, February 10, 2007, Mrs. Ruth Johnston of Wingham, formerly of Belgrave age 92 years. The former Ruth Brown beloved wife of the late Robert F. (Bert) Johnston who predeceased her in 1993. Dear mother of Marilyn and Chester MacDonald of Goderich. Grandfather of Douglas Thompson and friend Val of Cobourg and Danny Thompson of Vancouver. Great-grandmother of Brae and Cale Thompson. Predeceased by her son-in-law Jim Thompson, her brother Clifford Brown and one brother in infancy. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Reverend Ethel Miner Clare officiating. Interment in Brussels Cemetery, Brussels, Ontario. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Knox United Church, Belgrave would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
