Obituary of Herman Jacob DeBruyn

At Braemar Retirement Centre, on Sunday, March 11, 2007, Mr. Herman DeBruyn age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Cory Van der Hulst who predeceased him on December 24, 2006. Dear father of Betty DeBruyn of Portland, Adrian and Anne of Goderich, Theresa and Don Rintoul of Kincardine, Margo and Dan Manning of Little Britain, Joseph and Dale of Temagami, John and Maureen of Lucknow, Gemma and Frank Martin of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, Jake and Wilma of Temagami, Mary DeBruyn of Prescot, Anne DeBruyn and John Neilson of Brampton and Vincent and Marnie of Englehart. Father-in-law of Beth DeBruyn of Clifford. Also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Gerard, one infant daughter, one infant great-grandson, four brothers and one sister. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Parish Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Thursday at 11:00 am. Father John Johnson officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Turnberry Township. Memorial donations to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Building Fund or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
