Obituary of Edith M. Stokes

At Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Saturday, October 03, 2015, Edith Stokes of Fordwich, formerly of Belmore age 97 years. Cherished aunt of Donald Nickel, Marjorie and Gary Stefan, Doris and Gerald Rodges, Gordon and Louise Elliott, Bruce and Lenore Elliott, Linda and John Lichtenberger, and Betty and Phillip Feeley. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Isaac and Mazy (Lane) Stokes, her brother Tom Stokes, her sisters Margaret Nickel and Mildred (Elliott) Yuill and her niece June McBurney. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Mr. Owen Weber officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township. Memorial donations to World Vision would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.©
