Obituary of Velma Marie Dow

At Extendicare, London, on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, Mrs. Velma Dow of London, age 96 years. The former Velma Broomer beloved wife of the late Clifford H. Dow who predeceased her in 1987. Aunt of Wayne Canning of Stratford. Cousin of Mary Coultes and family, Nettie Oulton and family, the Wellington Dow family, the Harvey Dow family and the Evelyn Hack family. Also survived by Cliff's family, Lynda and Larry Okerstrom, Sandra and Foster Parkinson, Marie and Leonard Trotzuk, Debbie and Miles Britton, John and Susan Dow, Deanna and Greg Nelson,13 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Elsie (Dow) Broomer, her sister Eileen Canning (1999), Brother-in-law Cyril Canning (1975) and nephew Billy Canning (1947). A graveside service will be held at Roy's Cemetery, Russeldale at a later date. Pastor Elly Dow officiating.
