Obituary of Lloyd George Carter

At Wingham and District Hospital on Thursday, October 30, 2008, Mr. Lloyd Carter of Wingham, age 89 years. Beloved husband of the former Ellen Bailey. Dear father of Gary and Pam Carter of London, Greg and Janet Carter of Dorchester and Wayne and Dina Carter of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Karyn and Robert Bennett, Lori and Lee Griffith, Douglas Carter, Steven Carter and Lauren Carter. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kaden and Brier. Predeceased by his parents George and Lillian (Nicholls) Carter and by three sisters and one brother. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Saturday, 7:00-9:00 pm. Royal Canadian Legion service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
