Obituary of Murray Underwood

At Huronlea, on Thursday, January 22, 2009, Murray Underwood of Wingham, age 73 years. Beloved husband of the former Merle Gowdy. Dear father of Mark Underwood and Vikki Dennis of Wingham and Cheryl and Darren Faber of Gravenhurst. Loving grandfather of Ryan Underwood. Brother of Alan and Marion Underwood of Kincardine and brother-in-law of Margaret Underwood of Gorrie, Alice and Bill Kipp, and Muriel and Murray Dale all of London. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Edna (Harris) Underwood and by his brother Glenn Underwood. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Saturday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to St.Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Alzheimer Society of Huron County and Wingham Adult Day Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
