At Wingham & District Hospital, North Huron (Wingham) on Thursday, March 19, 2009, Mr. John Edward Thompson of Bluevale, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the former Margaret McNall. Dear father of Jannette and Husband Kevin Voisin of Heidelberg, Murray and wife Audrey Thompson of Auburn, Steve and wife Nancy Thompson of Wingham and Danny and wife Brenda Thompson of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Steven, Shannon and Scott, Jacklyn and Jordan, Jason and Tanya, Tristen, Sabrina, Brandi, Nicole, Jessica, Tina and Eric, Samantha and Heather, and great-grandchildren Austin, Keegan and Jordan. Brother of Bill and Shirley Thompson, Bob and Janette Thompson and Sharon and Vic Stackhouse, and brother-in-law of Dorothy Thompson. Predeceased by his parents John and Dorothy Thompson, his son William Grant, his brothers Donnie and Jim, and his sisters Mary Lou, Gail and Kathleen (Kay). Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday 2:00 - 4:00, and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Harvey Osborne officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
