Obituary of Althea Kate Stuckey

At Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, Mrs. Althea Stuckey of Wingham, age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Clare Cantelon and the late Emery Stuckey. Loving aunt of Eldon and Mary Lou Hardenburg, Marvin and Ilene Hardenburg of Grand Blanc Michigan, and Norman and Barbara of Flint, Michigan. Survived by seven great-nephews, one great- niece and many cousins. Step-mother of Dan and Ginette Stuckey of Inwood, Lawrence and Barbara Stuckey of Listowel, Lynne and Gordon Tyler, and Kerry Stuckey of London. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Adelaide Brown and her sister Carmen Brown. Until her retirement Mrs. Stuckey was the owner of Hanna Men's and Boy's Wear in Wingham. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Saturday 2:00 pm-5:00 pm and on Sunday 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Wayne Beamer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or The S.P.C.A. of Huron County (Society For The Prevention of Cruelty To Animals) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
