At Wingham & District Hospital, North Huron (Wingham) on Thursday, August 06, 2009, Jack Simpson of Wingham, age 81 years. Beloved husband of the former Marion Marks. Dear father of Connie and Reverend Doctor Mark Harris of Kitchener and Steven and Denise of Clavering. Loving grandfather of Caleb & Ashleigh, Kyle & Laura and Samantha. Brother of Violet Schneider of Listowel and Howard and Sandra Simpson of Sudbury. Brother-in-law of Jim and Dorothy Marks, Carol Gilmore, Janice Marks and Diane Marks-Palmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harold and Betty Simpson, sister Marjorie and Harold Metcalfe, sisters-in-law Helen Marks, June and Ted Fothergill and brothers-in-law Glen Bender, Bill Gilmore, Gordon Schneider and Jack Marks. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Memorial services will be held at Wingham United Church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Doctor Mark Harris officiating. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Wingham and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
