At Braemar Retirement Centre, on Friday, November 06, 2009, Mrs. Dorothy Ryan of Wingham, age 86 years. The former Dorothy Elliott, wife of the late Edwin Ryan. Dear mother of Catherine Uttley of Kitchener and Greg Ryan and Kathryn of Scarborough. Loving grandmother of Allison and Michael Nicin, Caitlin Uttley, Sean and Lori Ryan and Andrea Ryan and Chad. Great-grandmother of Timothy, Margaret and Sloan. Also survived by her sister Edna Davis and sister-in-law Beryl Elliott both of Wingham. Predeceased by her sister Irene Elliott, brothers William, Norman, Edward and Lloyd Elliott. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Perry Chuipka officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
