Obituary of Donald Edgar Newman

At Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, Waterloo on Tuesday, May 05, 2009, Mr. Don Newman of Waterloo, formerly of Wingham age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty Mae (Hutcheson) Newman who predeceased him in 2006. Dear father of Ross and Marilyn Newman of Waterloo, Judy and Rick Valley, Carol and Doug Annett, Debbie and Jim Harris, Rick and Peggy Newman of Ottawa and Steven Newman of Calgary. Brother of Barbara Tervit of Wingham, Marilyn McDonald of Grand Bend, Douglas and Jeanie Newman of Halifax, Betty Jane Gill of Ottawa, Bill and Frances Newman of Clinton. Also survived by son-in-law Manfred Kupjetz of Cumberland, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Lillian (Hendershot) Newman, his daughter Helen Kupjetz, brother Richard and his brothers-in-law Don McDonald, George Tervit and John Gill. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday, from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral services at 2:00 pm. Reverend Wayne Beamer officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
