Obituary of Alan R. Mill

Peacefully at his residence in the loving presence of his family on Sunday, November 29, 2009, Mr. Alan R. Mill of Wingham, age 71 years. Beloved husband of Joanne (Pearce) Mill. Dear father of Brian and Heather Mill of Owen Sound, Andrea Gibson of London and father-in-law of John Gibson of London. Loving grandfather of Brian and Drew Gibson and Connor Mill. Brother of Mary and John DeWetter of London and Vicky and Heino Feldbusch of Port Stanley. Fondly remembered by his dear friend Tharon Riley of Wingham. Predeceased by his parents Chester and Annie (McLean) Mill. Alan graduated from University Of Western Ontario with a business degree in 1961. He then attended Western Law School graduating in 1964. He was a partner in the Crawford, Mill and Davies law firm in Wingham, Ontario. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery. Memorial donations to Community Nursing Services, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
