Obituary of James William Kaster

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, Mr. Jim Kaster of Turnberry Estates, Wingham, age 70 years. Beloved husband of the former Fran Tonner (Brown). Dear father of Brad and Donna Kaster of Ottawa, Penny Comeau and Joe Nold of Woodstock, Linda Kaster of Hespeler and Fran's children Dave Tonner and Andy and Jen Tonner all of Cambridge. Grandfather of eight grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Fred and Marie Kaster and family of Winterbourne, his sister-in-law Bernice Begin of Ottawa and brother-in-law Morris Brown of Waterloo and their families. Predeceased by his first wife Isabel Curry (1993). Jim was a long time truck driver for Fredricks of Dundas, McKinnon of Guelph and Morrison Brothers in Wingham for over 30 years and an adherent of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wingham. Visitation at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wingham, Ontario on Monday, from 1:00 until time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Final resting place Memory Gardens, Guelph, Ontario. Memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
