Obituary of Janet Hogg

At Fordwich Village Nursing Home, on Sunday, October 11, 2009, Mrs. Janet Hogg of Gorrie, age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilbur (Bill) Hogg who predeceased her in 2005. Special mother-in-law of Margaret Hogg of Wroxeter. Loving grandmother of Janet and Charles Hull of Wroxeter and Kendra Diemert of Walkerton and great-grandmother of Brandon, Steven, Natasha, Heidi and Dustin. Also survived by her brother Duncan Sangster and his wife Helen of Harriston and sister-in-law Marion Sangster of Clifford. Predeceased by her sons Bryan Hogg in 1996 and Barry Hogg in 2009, her brother Jack Sangster and her sister Lila Cathers. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Howick Legion, Branch 307 service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place Wingham Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Gorrie or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
