Obituary of Emerson George Hickey

At Seaforth Community Hospital, on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, Mr. Emerson Hickey of Seaforth, formerly of Wingham age 67 years. Father of Mary and Don McDonald of Lucknow, Murray Hickey of Amberley, Debbie and Dwayne Letteau of Teeswater, Tammy and Brad Hiusser of Wroxeter, Melissa Hickey of Wingham and Laurie and Paul Subject of Brussels. Grandfather of Devon, Sherry, Louis, Lyn, Shannon, Evan and Shawn, Matthew, Brittany, Joshua, Crystal, B.J., Amanda, Shawn, Taylor, Rebecca, Samantha and Brandon. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Brother of Lynn and Elva Hickey and Rod and Linda Hickey all of Wingham, Lyla Ann and Ivan Harkness of R.R. # 2, Wingham, Pamela and Kalvin Fischer of R.R. # 1, Bluevale and Kevin and Margaret Hickey of Wingham. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Lila (Evans) Hickey, his son Shane (1991) and his daughter Leesa Drumond (1999). Private memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday. Major Archi and Marie Simmonds officiating. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
