Obituary of C. Ross Hamilton

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, Mr. Ross Hamilton of R.R. # 5, Wingham, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Carol (Needham) Hamilton. Dear father of Geoffrey and Paulina Hamilton of Mississauga and Lisa and Craig Wesson of Kinkora. Loving grandfather of Derrick, Michelle, Amy, Brock and Brandon. Also survived by his brother Benson and Ruth Hamilton of Scarborough and brother-in-law Lloyd Needham of London. Ross was a commissioned officer in the RCAF during World War II, a member of Wingham United Church, and a former President and General Manager of CKNX Broadcasting Limited. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. and on Monday at the Wingham United Church from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. followed by the Memorial Service at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital, Wingham United Church or the Wingham Golf and Curling Club would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
