Obituary of Richard Porter

At Huronlea, Brussels, on Sunday, October 11, 2015, Richard "Dick" Porter, formerly of Sauble Beach, age 74 years. Cherished partner of Elayne Rintoul of Wingham. Lovingly remembered by Elayne's children, Michelle (Rintoul) Kennedy & John Bolander of Wroxeter, Michael Rintoul of Calgary and Phillip & Tracy Rintoul of Owen Sound, and by their children Cory & Vanessa, Jonathan, Bill and Lukas. Dear brother of Pamela Cook of Cincinnati, OH., and Robert Porter & Heather Hutchin of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Merle (Fowler) Porter. Dick retired as an O.P.P. officer from the Wiarton detachment on January 31st, 1994, after 30 years of service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wingham Golf & Curling Club on Sunday, October 25th, 2015, from 2:00-4:30 pm. Memorial donations to Wingham Golf & Curling Club, Wingham & District Hospital Auxiliary (cheques payable to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation) or the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be placed through McBurney Funeral Home Ltd. ©
