Obituary of George Emerson Walker

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, March 21, 2010, Mr. George Walker of R.R. # 3, Wingham, age 90 years. Beloved husband of Betty (Hatchard) Walker. Dear father of Don and Arlene Walker of Sudbury, Doug and Celeste Walker of Cambridge and Patty and Rod Mann of Stratford. Loving grandfather of Leanna, Kori, Krista, Allison, Sheri, Atheson, Emerald-Ann, Garnet, Galilee, DeVaughn, Keith, Sandra, Megan, Sean, Saige and Ewan. Lovingly remembered by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and by brothers Roy and Hedy Walker of Waterloo and Allen and Iona Walker of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Florence (Benbow) Walker, his infant son David and his brother Elmer Walker. Private family memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday. Mrs. Vangie Spears officiating. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
