Obituary of David Mervin McAllister

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, December 01, 2010, Mr. Mervin McAllister of Wingham, formerly of Teeswater, age 84 years. Beloved husband of the former Shirley Yeoman. Dear brother of Noreen Haines of Wingham. Loving father to Karen and Dale Wardley of Barrie and Gail and Paul Heffer of Wingham. Grandfather of Krista & Matthew Dunn , Daniel Wardley & friend Julie, Rachael Heffer & friend Dan, Ashley & Matthew Snow and Joelle Heffer. Great-grandfather of Cooper Dunn. Also survived by sisters-in-law Anne Yeoman of Wingham and Olive McBurney of Fordwich. Predeceased by his parents David and Jane (Caslick) McAllister, an infant brother and his brothers-in-law Carman Haines, Cecil Yeoman and Jack McBurney. A private funeral service will be held at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Reverend Hannah Lee officiating. Memorial donations to Teeswater United Church, Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
