Obituary of Harold Edward Lamont

At Wingham & District Hospital, North Huron (Wingham) on Saturday, March 13, 2010, Mr. Harold Lamont of R. R. # 3, Wingham, age 79 years. Beloved husband of Marie (Edgar) Lamont. Dear father of Glen of R.R. # 3, Wingham, Colin and Kathy of Listowel, David of Clinton, Donelda and Mike Eisenhofer of Kitchener, Donna of Wingham, Jack of Vancouver, Debbie and Wayne Lints of Listowel, and Robert and Sue of Wingham. Brother of Gladys Wylds, Alvin, Elmer, Lloyd, George, Archie and Kevin Lamont, Betty Jean McDonald and Jenny McDonald. Lovingly remembered by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Colin and Lilly (Haines) Lamont, his brothers Doug, Leonard, Norman and Colin Lamont and by his sister Evelyn Fox. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
