Obituary of Walter Horton

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, May 02, 2010, Mr. Walter Horton of Howick Township, age 82 years. Dear brother of Marjorie Harkness of Wingham, Joyce and Don Schatte of Ridgetown, Phyllis Bain of Pike Bay, Ken and Jean Horton of R.R. #1, Clifford, Eleanor and Ron Campbell of London, Janet and Bill Dallimore of Chesley, and Sharon and Ron Douglas of R.R. #1, Clifford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Alice (Reading) Horton, his brother Cecil Horton and his sister Florence Stapleton. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Donald Pletsch officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township. Memorial donations to McIntosh United Church, Wingham Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
