Obituary of James Alan Darling

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Saturday, April 17, 2010, Mr. Alan Darling of R.R. #1, Wroxeter, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Zinn) Darling, who predeceased him in 1997. Dear father of Harvey Darling and Lois Darling both at home and Eileen and Donnie Morris of R.R. #1, Fullarton. Loving grandfather of Jennifer and Murray Morris. Brother-in-law of Isabel Jeffray of Walkerton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adam and Emma (Edwards) Darling, sisters Margaret Tyler, Isabel Darling, Agnes Ballagh and Joyce Carter and brothers Lynn and Tom Darling. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Don Pletsch officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township. Memorial donations to McIntosh United Church or South West Community Care Access Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
