Obituary of Lawrence Joseph Curran

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, Lorne Curran of R R # 2 Wingham, age 77 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor (McGlynn) Curran for 50 years. Dear father of Cindy and Joe Reinhardt of R R # 1 Wingham, Jeff and Jo Ann of R R # 2 Wingham, Brad and Corrinna of R R # 2 Teeswater and Terry and Lucy of R R # 2 Wingham. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren, Brody, Jenna, Tyler & Sarah, Travis, Taylor, Lexi, Garrett and Jesse and great-granddaughter Natalie. Brother of Helen and Duncan Sangster of Harriston, Bill and Janet Curran of Kitchener, Fran and Lorne Durrer of St. Jacobs, Inez and Bruce Lloyd of Kitchener, Ruth and Lloyd Hackbart, Barb and Mike Mertens, Joan and Mike Kelly all of Waterloo, Paul Curran of Kitchener and Dianne Curran of Guelph. Brother-in-law of Eileen, Mary and Helen McGlynn, Judy and Ray Fischer and Rose Gatecliffe. Also survived by serveral nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Felix and Margaret (O'Dwyer) Curran, brothers Kenneth, Jackie and Arthur, brothers-in-law Pat, Tom, Jerry, Dennis, Bob and D'arcy McGlynn, Randall French and Orville Gatecliffe. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 6:45 pm. Catholic funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Saturday at 11:00 am. Father K.P Morrison officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
