Obituary of Maude Schiestel

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, July 08, 2016, Maude Schiestel of Wingham, age 85 years. The former Maude Steuernol, beloved wife of the late William G. Schiestel who predeceased her in 2002. Dear mother of David Schiestel and friend Bonita of Wingham, and Cathy and Kevin Bennington of Town of Blue Mountain. Grandmother of Sheri Horton, Jeff & Sherri Walden, Jason and Nikki Schiestel, Scott and Amy Schiestel, Courtney and Kyle Bennington. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Sister of June Murray and friend Morris of Wingham, Carol Scott of Owen Sound, Barbara Williamson and friend Nick of Guelph, Janet and Robert Hymers of Clifford and Bonnie and Hughie MacDonald of Tilbury.

Predeceased by her parents Alymer and Verna (Rominger) Steuernol, her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ron Walden, her daughter-in-law Brenda Schiestel, her sisters Joyce Gardner, Shirley Simmons and Geraldine Tremain, and by her brother Elmer Steuernol.

A private family funeral will be held at Wingham Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.
