At Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, March 29, 2012, Mr. Owen "Oates" Wright of Wroxeter, age 60 years. Beloved husband of Kim (Detzler) Wright. Dear father of Colan & Jamie Wright of St. Thomas, Candice Wright of Belmore, Kyle Wright of Belmore, and Kris & Amy Wright of R.R. # 2, Wingham. Loving grandfather of Austin Wright. Dear brother of Faye & Walter Demerling of R.R. # 3, Mildmay, Glenna & Harold Francis of Maple Ridge, BC, Murray & Dorothy Wright of Cardiff, Howie & Judy Wright of London, and Shelley & Ross Weber of R.R. # 3, Mildmay. Brother-in-law of Joy Ann Detzler of Gibson, BC, Hugh & Conny Detzler of R.R. # 3, Mildmay, and Tom Detzler of Mildmay. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harvey & Marie (Mines) Wright, parents-in-law Tom & Alice Detzler, sisters-in-law Elaine Wright and Karen Detzler, nephew Bobby Wright, and uncle Ken Wright. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Private Funeral Service will be held at McIntosh United Church, Carrick Township on Monday. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township.
