Obituary of William John Salter

At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Sunday, May 12, 2013, Mr. Jack Salter of Goderich, and formerly of Wingham, age 80 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (MacKay) Salter for 59 years. Dear father of Debra and Tudor Wain of Goderich. Cherished grandfather of Ruthanne and Tom Taylor. Lovingly remembered by special daughters Brenda and Tammy and their families. Brother-in-law of Audrey MacKay and Mac and Carol MacKay all of Wingham. Predeceased by his parents Frank and May (Hunter) Salter and brother-in-law Alan MacKay. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until the time of Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Ms. Gail Trewhitt officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
